Cubeo privacy policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

This policy explains what data Cubeo: Block Puzzle (“Cubeo”, “the game”) collects, what we use it for and what you can do about it. We wrote it to be understood; if anything is unclear, write to us.

Who is responsible

Cubeo is developed by Tejo Studio, the trade name of José Luis Orozco Mejía, an independent developer based in Colombia. For any privacy matter: contacto@tejostudio.com.

Summary

Data stored on your device

Coins, power-ups used, your best scores, stars and your daily challenge streak are stored in the game’s storage on your phone. We do not send them to any server. They are deleted if you uninstall the game or clear its data from Android settings.

Data collected through Firebase

Cubeo uses these Google Firebase services. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf.

Service What it collects Purpose
Firebase Analytics Game events (game start and end, score, moves, power-ups used, coins earned and spent, daily challenge result), technical device data (model, Android version, language, approximate country), a game installation identifier and, if available, the device’s advertising identifier. Knowing how many people play and come back, which parts of the game work and which do not, and improving the balance.
Firebase Crashlytics Error and crash reports: device state at that moment, a technical trace of the error and the installation identifier. Finding and fixing bugs.
Firebase Remote Config An installation identifier, used to deliver the game’s configuration. Adjusting game values (for example power-up prices or star thresholds) without releasing a new version.

This data does not include your name or contact details, and we do not sell it or use it to show you advertising.

You can limit the use of the advertising identifier, or delete it, in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or “Privacy → Ads”, depending on your phone).

More about how Google handles this data: Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.

We process this data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working, fixing errors and improving it, always with data that does not directly identify you. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and we later add features that require your consent (for example, personalized ads), we will ask for it in the game before using them.

How long data is kept

International transfers

Google may process this data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, with the safeguards described in its data protection terms.

Children

Cubeo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its processing, or to withdraw any consent you gave. This includes the rights under Colombia’s data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012) and, where they apply to you, the European GDPR or California privacy laws.

Write to contacto@tejostudio.com. Because we do not collect data that directly identifies you, we may ask for your phone model and approximate installation date to find the matching installation. To delete all data stored on your phone, simply uninstall the game.

You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country (in Colombia, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above. If the change is significant (for example, adding ads), we will also tell you in the game.
